We Care Group and Summit Care Group recognised for excellence by National Care Awards
Leading care providers in the North of England, We Care Group and Summit Care Group, have been recognised for their commitment to excellence by the prestigious National Care Awards.
Founded in 2007 by CEO Bernie Suresparan, We Care Group and Summit Care Group have since established a long-standing reputation for providing outstanding person-centred care to residents while ensuring they can live with dignity, choice and independence.
The largest awards dedicated to recognising excellence in the UK care sector, the National Care Awards celebrate the best in care homes, domiciliary care, specialist care, suppliers and more.
Operating across 34 care homes spanning nursing, residential, palliative, end of life, young mental health, and dementia care, We Care Group’s core values of Family, Honesty and Respect together with its commitment to ensuring all residents feel, safe, happy and secure has meant that the impressive care provider has been recognised by not one but four award categories.
In addition to We Care Group being shortlisted as a finalist for Care Home Group of the Year [Medium], two members of its team have also been acknowledged for their dedication to resident care across four categories, detailed as follows:
- Care Home Manager of the year – Helen Holden, Old Gates Care Home
- Sara Berrio Care Champion Award – Davey Taverner
- Care Leadership Award – Helen Holden, Old Gates Care Home
Furthermore, Morgan Omelia, Carer for Summit Care Group, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Care Newcomer Award.
