WITH a couple waiting for the show home to open on the launch day, four sales in the first week and a third of properties now sold, buyers have given new luxury homes in Christleton their seal of approval.

Castle Green Homes is creating an enclave of just 24 large and luxurious new homes on land that was previously part of the former University of Law Chester Campus in Christleton. In recognition of the land’s roots in academia, the development is being marketed as College Park.

Accessed via a sweeping drive, the grandeur of the development is apparent from the approach to the substantial, double fronted, detached five-bedroom Townsend style home.

Sales director Sian Pitt said: “The response to our new homes in Christleton has been incredible. Buyers have been embracing the virtual reality resources on our website to explore the development and assess which home they want to purchase before they arrive on site. One couple were so keen to ensure they could reserve their preferred property that they were waiting for us to open on the launch day. In the first week alone, we took four reservations and a further four have since been reserved, meaning that we’ve sold a third of the homes already. The magnificent Townsend show home has played a pivotal role in the success of the development – it has a real wow factor. Feedback is that its generous proportions have been carefully considered to cater for how people really live, with a superb specification befitting of the location.”

Current availability at College Park ranges from a detached Egerton, with three en-suite bedrooms, priced from £684,995, up to a Townsend, like the show home, priced from £1,275,000.

Accessed via a decorative arched entrance, the Townsend exudes traditional charm and character, evocative of the Arts and Crafts era. Inside, it offers an impressive 2,908 sq ft of thoughtfully planned living space.

There’s a lounge at the front of the property, with a dedicated dining room, ideal for formal entertaining.

The kitchen, breakfast area and family room, is destined to be the heart of this home. Along with the adjoining practical utility, this sociable space spans the entire width of the property.

Recognising that many people now work from home for at least part of the week, there’s a study tucked between the dining room and family room. A cloakroom completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, all five bedrooms are generously proportioned, with one dressed as study.

“The principal bedroom suite is simply stunning – visitors have described it as a wing as it spans the depth of the property,” Sian explained. “The bedroom is at the front, with the dressing area leading through to the glamourous en-suite with bath and shower, plus double sink vanity unit. Plus, because bedrooms two and three also benefit from an en-suite each, meaning that the family bathroom serves just two bedrooms.”

The superb specification afforded in the new homes in Christleton includes an exquisite choice of Laura Ashley kitchens with co-ordinated quartz worktops. Kitchens will be well-equipped with NEFF appliances including hob, oven, microwave, under counter wine cooler and integrated dishwasher. The largest and most luxurious properties will include a larder fridge and full height cabinet freezer.

Kitchens and family areas will be fitted with a choice of Porcelanosa ceramic floor tiles or Amtico flooring. Bathrooms and en-suites will also feature Porcelanosa wall and floor tiles, Duravit sanitaryware with complementary chrome taps and a choice of vanity units to the principal en-suite, bathroom and cloakroom.
