Bridgend Issues Cost-of-living support scheme update
Bridgend County Borough Council have sent out emails or letters to eligible households who do not pay council tax by direct debit.
The emails and letters have been sent out in batches over the last week. If you do not receive yours in the next two weeks, then please contact the council at col@bridgend.gov.uk.
To claim this payment, you will need to visit the council website and complete the online form, please remember to have the following available when completing the form:
- Your council tax account number – find this on your invite letter (7 digits) or your council tax bill (8 digits) – either will suffice
- Access code (find this on your invite letter)
- Council taxpayer’s bank account details
Once submitted you should receive a confirmation email.
Please ensure to complete the online form and do not send an email containing your bank details.
Please be aware that the council is experiencing a high volume of calls at present, if possible, please apply online.
