Altrincham-based R&D specialists is calling all local business to understand tax incentive in just 10 minutes
Local business Research and Development Specialists Ltd (RDS) is calling all Altrincham businesses to attend its informative evening in which it will help de-jargon the complexities of the HMRC’s R&D tax incentive.
RDS, which now employs fourteen people is hosting an evening on Tuesday 30th November at its Kings Court offices to help local business understand if they are eligible for the incentive.
With the average claim across the UK now being around £53,714, Mark Joyner, RDS Managing Director, is suggesting the time to attend will be well worth the financial reward: “For many businesses the research and development incentive is overly complex to understand, and they just don’t have the time to commit to investigating it or even starting their own claim.
“Many also don’t realise the work they’ve undertaken is eligible to claim, or they don’t believe their industry fits the bill. We want to help demystify the incentive so that every Altrincham, or Northwest business, understands what qualifies and realises the potential financial rewards.”
The free event, which starts at 6.30pm with drinks and nibbles provided, is being described as a short and friendly evening that could unlock thousands of pounds for businesses in a multitude of industries including construction, manufacturing, food development and haulage.
Mark continued: “After what has been such a difficult period for so many businesses, it’s about time we all got back out there to meet up, chat and look at ways we can help each other prosper. We especially want to help support those who collaborate with us in the Northwest footprint.”
“That’s how RDS likes to work – face-to-face. Meeting in this way allows us to truly get to know our customers, their businesses and how we can help. We are not only excited to hopefully help local firms put a face to the RDS business – we are a friendly bunch that can explain R&D tax credit to anyone, and quickly”
RDS has helped its diverse portfolio of over 400 UK clients understand if they are eligible for the HMRC tax incentive scheme, which was set up in 2000 to help stimulate growth and innovation across the UK. The scheme is aimed at UK limited businesses from start-ups to established companies, with the potential to access a tax refund or tax credit for any eligible R&D work conducted.
Mark ended: “We hope to open the door to not only an informative, fun evening but to saving businesses locally some money.”
